While this site focuses on hiking, Fort Mountain State Park offers over 60 miles of hiking, biking, and horseback riding trails. There's also a playground, swimming and fishing at Fort Mountain Lake. The West Overlook trails are the most popular with beautiful views and a stone fire tower, but if you're looking for some more solitude, several other small loop options are available along with the 8-mile Gahuti Backcountry Trail for those that want a longer adventure.
