Hike to two waterfalls along this easy 4 mile route in north Georgia. Travel through dense woods to experience the more wild Bartram Trail. This is a great trail to bring the doggo.
There are two parking areas at Warwoman Dell Recreation Area. This page begins at the second larger one at the end of the road. The Bartram Trail descends from above the parking lot, leaving the road halfway between the two parking lots. Just follow the yellow blazed trail.
Hike across Warwoman Road, following along Becky Branch to arrive at Becky Branch Falls in a quarter mile. Continue climbing uphill then dropping back down before reaching a mile. The Bartram Trail stays relatively level for the rest of the hike until you reach Martin Creek Falls at mile 2. Just before second waterfall the trail makes a sharp right turn as you approach an open area, crossing Martin Creek. This turn is designated by yellow blazes with arrows pointing the way.
The Martin Creek Falls double waterfall is much larger and more powerful than Becky Branch Falls and worth the extra effort to get to. This hike ends here, but if you want to double your distance and bag a great view then continue along the Bartram Trail to Pinnacle Knob.
