Take a short hike to Becky Branch Falls along the much longer Bartram Trail in north Georgia. This easy to access waterfall makes a nice short hike that's good for kids and pets. Another waterfall in the Warwoman Dell Recreation Area makes for a great add on hike.
Park at either parking lot. The trails to the falls will be along the gravel road between the two parking lots. This page describes starting from the second larger lot.
Head down the gravel road until you reach the turn off of the Bartram Trail behind an information sign. In front of the sign is another trail. Both trails head toward Warwoman Road and cross the road, but staying on the yellow-blazed Bartram trail is definitely the easier trail to follow.
Cross the road and continue up the Bartram Trail for just another tenth of a mile before arriving at Becky Branch Falls. From a wooden bridge you have a great view of this nice smaller waterfall cascading down the rock for about 20 feet. Continue past the waterfall, immediately taking the Becky Branch Falls Trail on the right to head back down to the road. If you want a longer hike with a larger falls, continue on the Bartram Trail to Martin Creek Falls or go even further to Pinnacle Knob.
Back at the road, I recommend turning right to walk along the road back to the Bartram Trail crossing you came in on to finish out this loop. The other trail that comes out at the sign along the gravel road is difficult to spot but is further down the road slightly around the corner.
